A Tradition of Innovation Continues

In 1942, I.T. Quarnstrom founded Detroit Mold Engineering (today’s DME Company) to provide mold bases in standard sizes, ready for machining of the cavity. That was the beginning of the DME tradition of industry-leading innovation and standardization.

DME North America, operates facilities throughout the United States, Canada and Mexico. A combination of manufacturing and regional service centers provides customers with the quality products and services they need always delivered with speed and reliability.

From the Heart of Europe to Anywhere in the World

DME Europe, operates manufacturing and distribution centers from central European locations in Sasovice in the Czech Republic and Mechelen in Belgium. These locations all for easy access to all means of transportation to assure cost effective and fast deliveries. Further technical centers are spread out over Europe to service customers both local and global needs.
